Came across this interesting website which has a very interesting and a potentially very successful option to save on ever rising gasoline prices. Check out Mygallons.com, this website offers like any other wholesale clubs (BJs, Costco etc) an annual membership option and once you sign up you can purchase gas at a specified price and then it lets you lock on that price until the quantity you purchased is used.
Interesting isnt? say you buy today 30 gallons @ 3.96 and if the price goes to 4.05 you will still end up paying 3.96 at the pump. I have signed up for the card. Let me see how it works and will be back again to post my findings

MyGallons - Another gimmick!

Well i did sign up for this exciting new business but they came back after 10 days stating that they were unable to acquire the required partnership with several key firms and hence they cannot offer the service at this time and the sign up fee was refunded. So not sure if they tried something and failed or was it just another gimmick!!! So mygallons.com no longer a true service provider.
